Baby Shower

This upcoming month, I will be having a baby shower and It makes me nervous. Why? Well, the day I have my baby shower, it is exactly a month till I get to meet the little human being that has been beating me up inside.
What makes baby showers even scarier is that it's a wake up call that I AM having a baby. Sure, my growing belly and the morning sickness is pure proof that I have a little one on the way but it doesn't really mentally set in till I have that baby shower and its frightening,
I can't help but be extremely nervous and scared for what life will be for me. It is going to be weird to not be working and getting dressed every day.
A lot of times, I thought it would be awesome to not work for a year.. but I realized that I am a it of a workaholic. I love working. I constantly on my day offs worried about the things thats happening or if I remembered to turn on the staff dishwasher. I am also tempted to check my work email as well. I don't know how I am going to do this.
People, friends and family have reassured me that all will go well. I won't have the slightest time to even be worried about work.
Let's hope that is the case.
